 Patna: Bihar will receive more rain in October this year but the temperature will also rise. The Meteorological Department says that rainfall is expected to be 30 to 40 percent more than normal in October and the temperature may remain between 29 to 34 degrees Celsius. At present, the monsoon is weak and light rain is expected in most parts of the state. The weather will remain clear in some districts of the south-east.

It may rain during Dussehra

According to the Meteorological Department, this year the heat will be more in October. Generally, the temperature in October remains between 28 to 32 degrees Celsius, but this time it can rise to 29 to 34 degrees Celsius. Talking about rain, this year there is a possibility of 30 to 40 percent more rain than normal in October. This means that this year there may be rain in many districts even during Dussehra, due to which people may have to face trouble.

According to the Meteorological Center Patna, there is no active weather system around Bihar at present. A cyclonic circulation is formed over North East Assam but it will not affect Bihar. Due to this, the monsoon will remain weak but light rain may occur in most of the districts. Rain may occur at many places in the state

According to Patna IMD, light to moderate rain was recorded in some parts of the state on Tuesday and Wednesday as well. The highest rainfall was recorded in Athmalgola in Patna late Wednesday night where 19.6 mm of rain was recorded. Gaya received 9.8 mm, Nalanda 8.2 mm, Jamui 4.4 mm, Lakhisarai 4.4 mm, Kishanganj 4.2 mm, Banka 3 mm, Aurangabad 2.4 mm, Bhojpur 1.6 mm, Vaishali 1.02 mm, Sheikhpura 1 mm, Buxar 1 mm, Munger 0.5 mm and Katihar 0.5 mm of rain was recorded. Patna and Lakhisarai also received light rain on Wednesday afternoon.

Talking about temperature, no significant change was seen in the temperature of the state on Wednesday. The temperature of the capital Patna was recorded at 33.2 degrees Celsius with a drop of 0.6 degrees Celsius. The highest maximum temperature of the state was recorded at 33.2 degrees Celsius in Madhubani and the lowest temperature was recorded at 30.5 degrees Celsius in Kishanganj. The average temperature of the state remained around 34 degrees Celsius.
